The UNI Study Abroad Center works closely with UNI Campus Police, national organizations, and our partners overseas to make sure that our students, faculty and staff are informed so they can be proactive and handle any situation while on campus and traveling internationally.

The UNI Study Abroad Center receives updates and closely monitiors events overseas by working closely with the US State Department , the World Health Organization , and the Centers for Disease Control. Check out the links in the navigation bar to see live newsfeeds from these agencies.


Political situations worldwide are watched closely and the office strives to remain in close contact with students abroad to alert them of any potential threat to their health and safety.
